Have a look at the precise way in which projects were developed and how they have been recorded in their folios. Look at how the realisation is documented and what techniques have been used to produce a professional looking Folio. Your Folio needs to support your project. Careful attention to detail is needed in your Folio.

Your Design and Technology Teacher should not be the person who corrects your grammar or spelling. Students need to have someone at home, to proof read their drafts to help eliminate any possible errors or gaps in the folio logic. We all tend to “read”what we think we wrote but sometimes it takes a second set of eyes to find mistakes.

Walking around the computer room I will sometimes come across a student wasting their time reading something on Facebook or the alike. The amount of time available for your Major Design Project seems like a a lot but don’t be fooled. Try and concentrate on the research you set out to do and leave distractions on the net to another time.
